S2S STEM Internships

Internships are a great way for students to work with Students 2 Science throughout the year.

S2S project-based internship program provides a mentored internship opportunity and career readiness experience to students interested in learning about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Interns gain meaningful hands-on work experience and develop a toolkit of foundational skills for the professional world.

  • We offer Program Internship opportunities in our three signature program areas.
  • Interns are assigned to either our East Hanover or Newark Technology Center, depending on multiple factors.
  • We offer internships both during the school year and summer.
    • School year internships are only open to college students.
    • Summer internships offer a few spots for high school students alongside college students.
  • Please follow this page for updates on which internship positions are currently open.

Program Intern – Virtual Lab, ISAAC, Career Advancement Program (CAP):

  • Are assigned to work with a designated member of the S2S team.
  • Expected to conduct research, complete experimentation/project, and develop a presentation summarizing their work and present it to their internship class, the S2S team, and industry experts for feedback and evaluation.
